After a decade in corporate sales, Velia followed her passion for travel and founded Modern Family Travel® in 2021. Today, she leads MFT Destination Weddings with a heart for adventure, inclusivity, and connection.

As the 2024 ASTA Travel Advisor of the Year, Velia is recognized across the industry for her expertise and compassionate leadership. She’s been featured in Travel Weekly, Fox 29 News, and more, and continues to inspire couples to create unforgettable wedding journeys.

When she’s not curating dream celebrations, Velia is a proud mom of two, Emma and Carter, and wife to Nate. Together, they embody the spirit of love, family, and adventure that fuels every wedding she plans.
